Last updated: 4 October 2026

2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage works in a similar way. We use both only for the purposes listed below.
3. Essential cookies (always on)
These are needed for the shop and your account to work, so they don't need your consent. We don't use them to track you.
| Name | Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| session | FlashBind | Keeps you logged in to your FlashBind account. | Until you close your browser or log out |
| cart | FlashBind (Shopify cart) | Remembers what is in your shopping cart. | Until you close your browser |
| flashbind_cookie_consent (browser storage) | FlashBind | Remembers your cookie choice so we don’t ask again and only load the cookies you allowed. | Until you change it or clear your browser storage |
| _shopify_essential | Shopify | Makes the shop, cart and checkout work and records your cookie choice for Shopify. | 1 year |
4. Analytics and marketing cookies (only with your consent)
Our shop runs on Shopify. Our cookie banner lets you allow analytics and marketing cookies separately:
- “Accept all” allows both.
- “Essential only” allows neither.
- Tick Analytics, Marketing or both, then click “Save my choices” to allow only what you ticked.
If you make no choice, neither is set. We don't use advertising cookies and we don't sell your personal data.
Analytics (only if you allow analytics)
| Name | Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| _shopify_analytics | Shopify | Counts visits and how the shop is used (for example which pages are viewed), so we can improve it. | 1 year |
Marketing (only if you allow marketing)
| Name | Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| _shopify_marketing | Shopify | Tells us which link or campaign brought a visitor to the shop. | 1 year |
5. Checkout
When you go to checkout, you move to Shopify's checkout pages. Shopify sets the cookies it needs to process your order and payment there. See Shopify's cookie and privacy information for details.
6. Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; the banner then appears again with the same choices. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; the banner will then ask you again.
7. More information
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. Questions about cookies: info@flashbind.com.
